MaineHunters.com Pro-Staff Steve Beckwith limits out in New Hampshire on March 31st, last day of bunny hunting in 2010, with the expert help of Pro-staff David Thayer and his boys, Shotgun, Yankee, Scentlok and ???. Thanks Dave for all you do and your hard work with the boys!!!
Kieth Henner, JD with MH Pro Staff David Thayer and his dogs... We started at 7:45am and finished at 11:30am. I used my two best dogs Yankee and Shotgun. Those two dogs pounded all morning and never had more than a 1 or 2 minute loss and even that was rare. A lot of gun fire and laughs this morning. We hunted in the lakes region of NH on a fresh snow scoring on 7 rabbits. You cant beat hound hunting! Steve Beckwith - MH Pro Staff Jan. 8, 2009 - I headed out on a new light snow on my first rabbit hunt of 2010 at 2:30 PM, it took awhile to cut a fresh track, but when I did the chase was on! He almost beat me to death, but I ran him down like a good beagle should and he made his mistake. A clean head shot on the run and I was home by 3:30 PM!
Barry Hammond and fiends - Bobcat hunt Jan. 2010
Steve Beckwith - MH Pro Staff Jan. 20th, 2009 - I headed out today at 2:15 PM, was home by 3:15 with another bunny! With snow up over my knees today.. it's time to dig out the snowshoes to chase snowshoes!
David Thayer MaineHunters.com Pro-Staff New Durham NH Jan 2010 The Pittston farm use to have one of the largest deer yards in the state of Maine. Now its down to around 20 deer total. This cat was shot not to far from there. Paul Lanys dogs jumped the cat off a dead deer and ran it right up a tree
David Thayer MaineHunters.com Pro-Staff New Durham, NH Rabbits taken in NH lakes region, Brian and Dave from Mass eash got two bunnies thanks to Shotgun and Yankee.
David Thayer - MaineHunters.com Pro-Staff and his hounds headed out for an afternoon bunny hunt, 38 degrees and the sun was shinning. Mike Huppe scored on his first triple in the lakes region thanks to Shotgun, Yankee and Tuffy. This was a new spot I hunted and it had some overwhelming bobcat sign. I found a fresh rabbit track right off which I thought was a bit odd due to the time of day and temp. I put one of my dogs on it and they took off running. I backtracked the rabbit a bit and sure enough a big tom was in pursuit of that rabbit. I found the cats track were he turned and leaped away, I asume he heard us coming. I also found a smaller cat track in the same spot after we started running. I hope some day we can hunt them again! For now it's the rabbits. Jonathan Curran - with his first fox. We were hunting coyotes in Kennebunk when this fox came to the calls. Last day of season 2/27/10 w/ .30/.30 Jason Spencer & crew - All coon treed by my Chaser pup, Chris's Jack pup, Darren's Duke and Brandy pups.
Cole Richards –Presque Isle Maine. These birds and rabbit were all shot in Ashland Maine on the second week of bird hunting

Jason Spencer crew - First Bobcat of 2010 - 40 pds shot by Larry tucker and hounds where my Mixer dog and Steve Cole's Mitty Moe hound.
David Thayer - Durham, NH, MH's Staff - We headed up to the western mts of Maine with Paul Laney - for a cat hunt with the Trizzano boys from New York city. We had a good week killing a bobcat and a coyote, by weeks end we had seen 28 moose, 16 deer, 3 coyotes, 2 fox, and 1 bobcat. The conditions for hunting where poor at best. We need a bit more snow and things should be a bit better running wise
